Your working Digital Radio System
TetraFlex® works. Here is how.Small, easy and ready for operation under harsh climatic environmental conditions. These are some of the key words which characterise TetraFlex®.
The TetraFlex® system uses a decentralized and distributed database to ensure a high degree of independent reliability even when inter-node links are lost. TetraFlex® is provided with dual receiver diversity for optimal sensitivity and coverage, has integrated duplex filters (Outdoor systems) or multicoupling (Indoor systems). The outdoor systems are comprised of two basic modules, a Base Station (BS421) and a Service Box (SB421). The popular modular format with its IP65 rating provides for ease of installation and flexibility and can typically be mounted close to the antenna installation and without special equipment shelter requirements. The indoor systems (BS411, BS412, BS414) are shipped in standard 19" rack as complete systems, just connect the antenna's, power and remote WAN connection. TetraFlex® systems are also provided with internal GPS receiver(s) used for time and frequency synchronisation. External GPS sync input and outputs permits two or more base stations to synchronise from a single GPS antenna. The system also allows external synchronisation when required e.g. tunnels and other areas where GPS signals cannot be received. The IP connectivity allows for remote diagnostics, tests and software updates. Windows desktop, file transfer and the Damm Operation and Maintenance (O&M) interface are remotely available. The DAMM TetraFlex® supports terminals from a wide range of suppliers and conforms with the ETSI ETS 300-392, the ETSI 300-394 and the Tetra-Association TIP specifications. |
