Private operator Nordic Refriguration and Electrical Services is to deploy there own TETRA system.

A private service provider in Whyalla, one of the largest regional centres on the western shores of the Spencer Gulf in South Australia, will install a digital TETRA system from Damm Cellular Systems using TetraFlex^® infrastructure and Sepura radio terminals.

Nordic are keen to take advantage of the standard features found within TETRA systems and terminals including high quality voice group call communications, full duplex telephony, private conversations, text messaging and GPS location services.
