Main Roads deploys WiFiber high bandwidth wireless technology.

Main Roads Queensland chooses high speed wireless links from GigaBeam. GigaBeam’s WiFiber links are deployed to connect road side signage and vehicle height monitoring system on the Gold Coast in South East Queensland.

WiFiber is being deployed to connect Main Roads extensive network where underground fibre is deemed un-economical to install. WiFiber along with redundant Ethermux microwave links from EM Solutions are installed at two bridges on the southern end of the Gold Coast. GMG Solutions provided the expert knowledge and man power to install and commission these links.
