Hyatt Regency is the first to deploy a Campus Based Digital Terrestrial Trunked Radio system in Australia.

One of the worlds largest five star hotel chains, Hyatt Corporation at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast, have chosen to use Damm Cellular Systems TetraFlex® infrastructure and Sepura SRH3800 terminal units.

The Hyatt’s requirements were simple. Acquire a communications system that would provide standard features such as radio group dispatch calls, emergency group calls, private radio to radio calls, full duplex private telephony calls and text messaging capabilities. These features must also be packaged into a single light weight but ruggedised handset. All these requirements have been accomplished with TETRA.
