Grand Hyatt Hotel in Melbourne selects TETRA technology.

A second Hotel from the Hyatt Hotel group have chosen a TETRA digital radio system from Damm Cellular Systems and Sepura portable radio terminals. Damm's TetraFlex^® infrastructure is matched with the Sepura terminal units and directly integrated into the companies Alcatel PCX4400 PABX.

TETRA provides all the required features and functions of Push-To-Talk (PTT) group call dispatch, security, private radio to radio calls, full duplex telephony integration, text and alarm messaging. The hotel group are also trialing the new Zonith Tetra Alarm Control System (TACS) which integrates to the Hotel Building Management System (BMS) for automatic deployment and escalation of alarm and job messages.
