Pacific Fair is the first Australian Shopping Centre to choose Tetra Technology

An AMP Capital Shopping Centre, Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast has chosen a TETRA digital radio system from Damm Cellular Systems and Sepura portable radio terminals. Damm's TetraFlex^® infrastructure is matched with the new STP8000 series Sepura terminals and will be directly integrated into the companies PABX.

The TETRA system is to replace the ineffective conventional radio equipment, offering secure digital trunking technology for centre management and site contractors. Radio uses will initially be offered standard operational features including Push-To-Talk (PTT) multiple group call dispatch, secure communications, private radio to radio calls, full duplex telephony integration and SMS text style messaging.

Future TetraFlex^® integration capabilities for the centre will include network expansion capability to incorporate any future growth requirements, alarm monitoring, alarm dispatch messaging and individual user location monitoring to ensure a safer more efficient working environment for staff and contractors.
