First Tetra Deployment in Western Australia for DAMM TetraFlex^®

BRIKMAKERS a division of the BGC, a privately owned group of companies based out of Perth has chosen a TETRA digital radio system for their site communications. Brikmakers are installing Damm's TetraFlex^® dual carrier infrastructure matched with Sepura and Teltronic handheld terminals and will be directly integrated into the companies PABX.

The TETRA system is to replace the ailing conventional radio equipment offering secure digital trunking technology for site management and contractors. Radio uses will initially be offered standard operational features including Push-To-Talk (PTT) multiple group call dispatch, secure communications, private radio to radio calls, full duplex telephony integration and SMS text style messaging.

Future integration for the brickworks will include network expansion capability to incorporate extended coverage, alarm monitoring, alarm and job dispatch messaging and individual user location monitoring to provide a safer working environment for staff and contractors.
